Hello,

My name is Cuong Duc Dao (a.k.a. Erik). I'm a machine learning developer. Currently, I'm working as a research intern at Image and Video Understanding Lab (IVUL) at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. My supervisor is Professor Bernard Ghanem.

My general research interest leans toward the application of deep learning to solve real-world problems in computer vision and natural language understanding. I hack around with neural network architectures and algorithms to teach computer to understand visual data like we human do. Specifically, I have been working on human activity recoginition and detection recently.

Besides, I have also been a full-stack web developer over the past three years. I play with Python Django, Celery, ReactJS and Amazon AWS for my web development bussiness.
